When police work a case they always start with the person who has the most to gain. In this case the answer should be obvious....Lyndon B Johnson. The author proves this to be the case. LBJ may not have pulled the trigger but he was in on the planning. All the groups like CIA, FBI, MOB GUYS CONSPIRED TO KILL JFK and did get the job done. Remember that The Warren Commision was all under control of LBJ and he knew that the report had to say Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone and that is what happened in spite of the evidence to the contrary. This was a real "Coup d' etat" in America politics. The "single bullet theroy" was the most unbelievable and did show a bullet with no scaring on it and could not have been that pristine after going through multiple bones of JFK and Gov Connely. Read it for yourself.
Great book. I had to read this in my grad class The Kennedy Assassination. Unlike the Warren Commission and Gerald Posner's "Case Closed," this book embraces recent conspiracy theories, new statements and Garrison's efforts at convicting Clay Shaw, whereas the Warren Commission and Posner deny that any conspiracies took place and try to tear books like this apart. This is a very well thought out, well written book.
Only reason I didn't give 5 stars would be the typos in the E version. Read together with another book by the author , "What Really Happened" I do believe in a conspiracy and I believe Johnson , CIA, and mafia had parts. Trumps data dumps in 17 and 18 prove valuable and absolutely establish a deep level cover-up. People will believe what they want sometimes even in the face of contradictory evidence. I suspect many people have an emotional need to have a government that is safe and in control and will take care of then in crisis. Belief in Santa clause may be more plausible.
Jerry Kroth presents a logical explanation of the how and why of the Kennedy assassination. He cites his sources and in a straight forward manner lays out his reasons for suspecting collusion between LBJ, the CIA and the Mafia. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the author is very repetitive as if he were a student trying to stretch out a writing assignment to a predetermined length.
This book goes step by step and debunks the lies of the Warren Commission. There were many facts included in the book that came as a surprise 1). Over a hundred people who had information about the assassination have not lived to tell about it. Murders, suicides, or mysterious deaths have run rampart among these people. 2). Oswald did not go to Mexico trying to contact the Russian government. 3). LBJ told people things before and after the assassination that implicated himself. These are only a few of the well documented facts brought out by the author. I highly recommend this book.
The author Jerry Kroth takes a unique approach to the apparently conflicting conspiracy theories by proposing that several factions collaborated to assassinate the President. In doing so the reader is no longer challenged to choose any one faction and its supporting evidence over another faction and its evidence. The author shows rather convincingly that some factions acted explicitly while others acquiesced in their duty to protect the President and effectively investigate and bring the guilty parties to justice.
I obtained the version of this book and I could not put it down. This e-book was amazing! It was concise, properly footnoted, well researched and NOT bulky at all. Further, it not only put forward its theory on the Assassination of President Kennedy, that it was an evil Troika of Lyndon Johnson, the CIA/FBI and the Mob, all having different reasons for Assassinating Kennedy, but all wanting him dead, but also taking on the various critics, both old and new, of the Johnson/CIA/FBI/Mob theory, and putting those criticisms to rest. Also, it does not shy away from its own weaknesses in its own theroy and shows them and and even states where and why the weaknesses exist. That is a refreshing bit of honesty that rarely comes out of topics like this and IMHO gives the book even more credibility even credibility over all other books on this topic.
Overall Jerry Kroth makes a compelling case for the Assassination of President Kennedy by other forces, and that Lee Harvey Oswald had nothing to do with it and that he truly was a patsy. Yet, it must be pointed out that is Mr. Kroths theory and version of events is true our American Republic died on November 22, 1963 along with President John F. Kennedy. The ramifications of what Mr. Kroth puts forward are not just astounding but earth-shattering! I hope and pray that Mr. Kroth is wrong for the sake of ourselves and our children, because if he's not our future does not look bright. In fact, ever since November 22, 1963 the course of events for America have been very, very dark. I pray that Mr. Kroth is wrong.
